Week 5 ya'all. I am literally so close to finishing my degree it's not even funny. I have so much more to accomplish and this is just the end of this chapter. For this week - I worked so much that I didn't get to my schooling until today - right now. Shame on me, ugh!
Anyway, my job is imperative because of course it makes me the money - but doing schoolwork on a Saturday night is just not the bizzzznesssss. BUT - that's what I did this week - work, work, work, work.
Go to several web pages or content sites and look to see what ad formats are used. Do they conform to IAB guidelines? Go to the same page on a mobile site and compare. Were there differences, and why do you think so? Are any of the advertisers using Mobile Rising Stars and which ones?
Aside from that I was delegated tasks for this week's module in Digital Media Marketing so here we are...
So of course again research was needed at the above hyperlink - the site states: "IAB Standard Ad Unit Portfolio, featuring ads that allow for creative to adjust to a variety of screen sizes and resolution capabilities." Of course I had to take into consideration what ad's I would want to look into in reference to this. One was the Bizzie Gold - Buti Yoga situation that I have been incredibly interested in and they have literally the best ad's. Maybe it is because I am biased but they make sure they invest the dollar amount needed to make their marketing fundamental to all screen types basically. The adjustment of the capabilities within reach of different screens is gold. *high five Bizzie.
The site I chose to think about was the event venue I work for's site. Riverside Place. The reason I picked this one is because I am the one behind running said ad's and webpage details and honestly - they need some work. Simply because we do not have a team of professionals behind each and every ad we put out there - we have me. Who has no degree in the fundamentals of webpage building - only YouTube and WordPress tutorials. But the ads for Sasha Souza and her development are actually pretty on point. She makes certain to utilize her need to educate within these ads. Ads are most effective when they are utilized to capture an audience with product/service portrayal and creativity as a whole.
Overall, I promise you my life is as exciting this week as it was last week. OH - a little chihuahua jumped into my jeep this week. It was incredible. Literally jumped in as I was buckling my 4 year old in. And he is the sweetest thing. Yes, I contacted the shelters and have been on the lookout to see if he has an owner. No collar, no microchip, but the sweetest bundle of crazy ever. Quote of motivation for this week before I peace out:

Cheers. 😘
