I am so excited every time I post a blog because it means I am that much closer to my degree. It has been such a long journey and I cannot wait to be finished. Anyway, it's Fall so I have spent way too much money on candles and have planned to go to the Pumpkin Patch at least 3 times and overall am working more than ever at work - there is just not enough coffee in the world to get me through. But life is all routine right now - so we will go right into the assignment.
Analyze the website and mobile presence of the company you are following. Discuss in your blog. Has the company followed good web design principles? Are the mobile applications easy to find and use? What suggestions for improvement might you make based on good web design principles?
For this part of the blog I am going to look at the presence of Bassett Events. www.bassetteventsinc.com. The mobile webpage and physical webpage have some great properties. The most important things to me when it comes to being a consumer is the presence of the digital media. It needs to capture your attention and keep you interested. Otherwise there is no point - it doesn't matter the product or service behind it, as long as there is at least a semi-creative side it will help out overall in the presence of the site. Bassett Events has technique and creativity on both sites. They are very easy to navigate and are informative all in one package. My most important suggestions would be to provide social media details as well. They are on Instagram but it is actually not that simple to navigate through to find that information. The web design principals are right where they need to be for success. So high five to them and their marketing team!
