Buti Yoga and Direct Marketing

For this week in terms of me - I found the most amazing workout regimen, because I know ya'all care so much. 😛 Anyway, in order to make these 8 weeks most interesting I was sure that telling you about my life was the way to go.

Anyway, Bizzie Gold - founder and creator of "Buti Yoga," changed my entire world the last couple weeks, and I mean it. When I get to meet her - and I WILL.....I'm not sure how I will handle it but it will be incredible. Anyway, I have been a yoga positive human for years, but in terms of a solid workout Buti Yoga has it in the bag. This workout compbines the concept of yoga with tribal dance and heart rate expediting movement and its glorious.

In reference to my class this week - "The Blog Project," I think it is coming along nicely. Please refer to the other 2 previous blogs if you are lost.

Here are the questions to answer for me this week -

Analyze the e-mail alerts and promotions you have been receiving for the companies you have been following. Do the e-mails follow good direct marketing and e-mail design principles? Are they compliant with the CAN-SPAM act? What changes would you make to these e-mail strategies?

Two out of three of the webpages I have chosen for this project have some really great direct marketing strategies. Bassett Events is really into clarifying and letting those who have subscribed know what they are doing. Sasha Souza, being the gangster she is has different information within each email. Whether that be a selling point, a teaching point, a blog posting, and so forth. The email design principals are direct, to the point, and creative. The only change I would make it to make them more frequently. I have only received one from Bassett Events. With Sasha Souza however, I received an email stating I could purchase event planning templates. And guess what....I did. 

Analyze the website you are following to determine if the company is using the Internet Is to their full advantage.

All three of these webpages are right where they need to be if my judegment matters. As this being my last course at DeVry, I took a multitude of marketing and media based classes so being the senior college student expert that I claim to be it looks as if the webpages are directive and provide the necessary creative information to influence consumers.

Let's reread this, right now. Evaluate a website in terms of how it uses the critical strategy elements..............

SO Sasha Souza - her webpage is influenced by her actual influence on the public with her business. The strategy elements used the most would be organization and experience. Her expertise is what builds her business and essentially folds over into her webpage as well. 

Clearly I have an intriguing blog that investing time in I have mastered the hyperlink, changing the font, and creating outstanding verbal written word. That's all for now.
